John, a University of Technology Sydney alumni holding a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science & Sports Management, boasts an extensive background as a Strength & Conditioning coach spanning diverse environments. His expertise encompasses corporate settings, notably at The Australian Club Sydney, and athletic spheres, having worked with U.S. Collegiates and Australian High School athletes since 2007.
His immersion in the U.S. collegiate scene began with a student exchange program at the University of Miami (Florida) in 2011, followed by a coveted Strength & Conditioning Coaching internship at Harvard University (Boston) in 2015. Collaborating with numerous Division 1 Sporting teams & student athletes across an array of sports—Rowing, Tennis, Basketball, American Football, Soccer, Diving, Swimming, Track & Field, Gymnastics, Wrestling, and Fencing—has enriched his versatile skill set.
Returning to Australia, John assumed the role of Director of Strength & Conditioning at Presbyterian Ladies College Sydney, where his seven-year tenure involved overseeing state and national-level student athletes engaged in all sports offered by the school.
He places significant emphasis on program prescription and injury prevention protocols, understanding their pivotal role in ensuring sustainable training consistency while mitigating injury risks in both general fitness enthusiasts and high-performance athletes alike.
In his leisure moments, John can often be found on the tennis court, eagerly seeking out opportunities for a challenging match.
