Joshua, passionate about leading an active lifestyle, has experienced various injuries from engaging in sports such as badminton, bouldering, cycling, mountaineering, running, and weightlifting. He managed his own rehabilitation journey for an L5-S1 disc bulge, knee meniscus tear, wrist TFCC tear, and rotator cuff injury. This firsthand experience enables him to effectively guide others through the rehab process. Joshua served as the Medic-In-Charge for over 10 years within the Commandos Unit during his National Service. He represented his university's badminton team in the Singapore University Games (SUniG), was the Head Coach at Ultra Badminton Academy, and competes in open category badminton tournaments during his free time. These experiences ignited his interest in Musculoskeletal/Sports Rehabilitation and Strength & Conditioning.

Joshua earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from the Singapore Institute of Technology. He then dedicated two years at St Luke’s Hospital, focusing on assessing, treating, and educating patients recovering from orthopedic surgery and undergoing neuro-rehabilitation.

Currently, he serves as the Team Physiotherapist for Hougang Football Club in the 2024-2025 Singapore Premier League and provides pitchside coverage for rugby games.

Joshua is proficient in various therapeutic techniques, including Clinical Pilates, Dry Needling, Advanced Sports Massage, Sports Taping, and Manual Therapy. These skills enhance his ability to effectively treat athletes and active individuals. Committed to continuous learning, Joshua stays updated with the latest research and literature to provide the most effective treatments for his patients. His ultimate goal is to help his clients return to their preferred sports activities in top physical form.

In his free time, you can find him hiking laps around Bukit Timah Nature Reserve on Sundays or running and cycling around Singapore.
